    About Our Speaker

With over three decades of nursing experience, Kristin Waite-Labott has firsthand knowledge of the challenges nurses face, having personally experienced mental health and substance use before finding recovery in 2005. She created a lifeline for nurses seeking support and understanding by founding the Wisconsin Peer Alliance for Nurses (WisPAN), providing a safe space to share experiences, build resilience, and find support. She has published a book titled “An Unlikely Addict” about her recovery story. She is a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse (CARN) and a Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC).
